Statues, Tomb of Amenemopet, Valley of the Nobles, Luxor
Seated statues of Amenemopet and his wife Nodjmet wearing wigs and perfume cones, in the niche of the longitudinal hall, in the Tomb of Amenemopet, or Ipy, TT41, chief steward of Amun in Thebes, 19th dynasty, New Kingdom, between el-Khokha and Sheik Abd El-Korna in the Valley of the Nobles, in the Theban Necropolis, Thebes, Luxor, Egypt. The Tombs of the Nobles are the burial sites of workers, priests, soldiers and officials. The site contains over 400 of rock cut tombs dating to the New Kingdom.
