Stone ship, a burial monument for a wealthy Viking made with granite slabs, reconstructed with concrete, and behind, the North Mound, at Jelling Royal Necropolis, a Viking royal burial site at Jelling, Vejle, Jutland, Denmark. The raised slabs at this northern end reveal the original granite slabs beneath. At over 350m long, this is the largest known ship setting. The site also contains 2 10th century Viking burial mounds, 2 runestones erected by Harald Bluetooth and king Gorm, and a medieval church built over the Viking church.
