Sundial in the Great Cloister, 18th century, at the Abbaye de Cluny or Cluny Abbey, a Romanesque Benedictine monastery founded 910, in Cluny, Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The original medieval cloister was replaced by a large one in classical style from 1750, with monumental staircases leading to the monks cells. The abbey is listed as a historic monument.
