Martyrdom of St Stephen, tapestry, 16th century, in the Salle du Parlement, in the Chateau du Plessis-Bourre, built 1468-73 in Renaissance style for Jean Bourre, Ecuille, Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire, France. In this room, king Charles VIII and Anne de Beaujeu received Hungarian ambassadors and negotiated a Franco-Hungarian alliance.
