Temple of Athena, built c. 500 BC in Doric style, with 6x13 columns, at Paestum, an ancient Greek city founded c. 600 BC in Magna Grecia, in Salerno, Campania, Italy. The temple was later used as a christian church and contains medieval tombs. Paestum was founded by the Greeks as Poiseidonia then seized by the Lucanians and Romans from 273 BC.
