Temple of Isis - Philae Complex
Temple of Isis, built under Nectanebo I, 380-362 BC, with the First Pylon and Trajan's Kiosk, built under Roman emperors Augustus and Trajan, seen from the Nile reservoir, at the Philae Temple Complex, originally on Philae Island, and moved to Agilkia Island in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam, Nubia, Egypt. The temple of Isis consists of an entrance pylon, great court, colonnade, birth house, other chambers and second pylon. The site houses temples and other buildings from the 30th dynasty, Ptolemaic and Roman periods, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
