Theatre or opera house, seating 170 people, inaugurated 1888, built for Jeanne Say, 1848-1916, wife of marquis Roland de Brissac, in the Chateau de Brissac, at Brissac Loire Aubance, Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire, France. Originally built by Foulques Nerra, count of Anjou in the 11th century, the chateau has been the seat of the dukes of Brissac since the early 16th century.
