Tholos, Delphi, Greece
Tholos, a circular temple with 20 Doric columns and 10 Corinthian columns, built 380-360 BC by Theodorus Phoceus, at the sanctuary of Athena Pronaea, in Delphi, Greece. The ancient city of Delphi was the seat of the oracle Pythia and the centre of the world to the ancient Greeks. It is situated on Mt Parnassus in the Parnassos National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
