Tomb of Alphonse Lamartine, 1790-1869, French poet, in the graveyard of the Eglise Saint-Donat de Saint-Point, beside the Chateau de Saint-Point, built 12th - 14th century, home of Alphonse de Lamartine, 1790-1869, poet and author, from 1820, at Saint-Point, Saone-et-Loire, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The tomb was built in 1829 in Neo Gothic style. Lamartine's mother, daughter, mother in law, wife and niece are also buried there. The chateau is listed as a historic monument.
