Tomb of Frederic Chopin (1810-49), with medallion portrait and marble statue depicting Euterpe, goddess of music, La Musique en Pleurs (The music in tears), 1850, Jean-Baptiste Clesinger, Pere Lachaise Cemetery (Cimetiere du Pere-Lachaise) Paris, France, opened 1804, designed by Alexandre-Theodore Brongniart.
