Tombs carved with khachkars and crosses, in the passage leading to the rock-cut church or Avazan, Zakarid period, c. 1240, cut under Avag, son of Ivane I Zakarian, designed by Galdzak, at Geghard monastery, or Geghardavank monastery, a medieval monastery complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church, founded 4th century AD by St Gregory the Illuminator, in Kotayk, Armenia.
