Tour du Portalet, a tower defending the Porte du Portalet, in the ramparts, originally built 9th century by the counts of Conflent and further fortified by Vauban in the 17th century, with new 2 storey covered walkways and bastions, in Villefranche-de-Conflent, a fortified town in Conflent, Pyrenees-Orientales, France. On the left is the Gothic bell tower of the Romanesque Eglise Saint-Jacques.
