North wing of the transept, in Angouleme Cathedral, or the Cathedrale Saint-Pierre d'Angouleme, Angouleme, Charente, France. The 12th century Romanesque cathedral was largely reworked by Paul Abadie in 1852-75. In 2008, Jean-Michel Othoniel was commissioned by DRAC Aquitaine - Limousin - Poitou-Charentes to display the Treasure of the Cathedral in some of its rooms, which opened to the public on 30th September 2016.
