Trim Castle, County Meath, Ireland
Keep and curtain walls of Trim Castle in the mist, seen from across the river Boyne, in County Meath, Ireland. Built on the site of an earlier construction, this is a 12th century Norman castle built by Hugh De Lacy from 1172, and extended and the great hall added in the 13th and 14th centuries.
