Romanesque sculpted tympanum, with scenes from the Last Judgement, in the Cathedrale Vieux Saint-Vincent, built 11th century, the original Macon Cathedral, in Macon, Saone-et-Loire. Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The tympanum relief depicts (top - bottom) Christ in a mandorla with angels, Virgin and St John with angels and apostles, old men of the apocalypse, dead emerging from their tombs, elect at the gates of heaven welcomed by Christ, and archangel Michael.
