UNESCO Headquarters, or Maison de l'UNESCO, designed by Bernard Zehrfuss, Marcel Breuer and Pier Luigi Nervi and opened in 1958, at 7 Place de Fontenoy in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, France. UNESCO is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. The main building shown here, is built in the form of a Y and houses the secretariat. In the complex there is also a conference centre (here on the right), a small square building for permanent delegates and non-governmental organisations or NGOs, and 6 sunken patios.
