View from the side of one of two lions supporting the columns of the protryon inside the Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore, 10th-14th centuries, Verona, Italy. This Romanesque church which forms the pattern for Verona's Romanesque style was constructed in 967 but damaged by an earthquake in 1117 and restored and enlarged from 1138 to 1398.
