CORINTH, GREECE - APRIL 15 : A general view of the Temple of Apollo, on April 15, 2007 in Corinth, Greece. Standing prominently on a knoll the Temple of Apollo was built in the 7th century BC in the Doric Order. Seven of its original 38 columns remain standing and are seen here in the afternoon light. It is one of the oldest temples in Greece. Corinth, founded in Neolithic times, was a major Ancient Greek city, until it was razed by the Romans in 146 BC.
