Situated next to the Fountain of Glauke, Temple C, built in the 1st century BC or AD, may have been dedicated to Octavia or Hera. This collection of fragments of lintels, Corinthian capitals and columns is seen in the early morning light. Corinth, founded in Neolithic times, was a major Ancient Greek city, until it was razed by the Romans in 146 BC. Rebuilt a century later it was destroyed by an earthquake in Byzantine times.
