Viking runestone, Gotland Museum, Visby, Gotland, Sweden
Viking runestone with an interlaced dragon ornament and cross, 11th century, from Sjonhem parish church, in the Gotland Museum, founded 1875 by the Friends of Gotland's Antiquity Society, in Visby, on the island of Gotland, Sweden. The inscription reads that stones were erected by Rodvisl and Rodalv in memory of their 3 sons, this one being for Rodfos, who was killed by the Wallachians on an expedition. Picture by Manuel Cohen
