Wall, Building B, Sapinuwa, Ortakoy, Anatolia, Turkey
Tightly fitting stone blocks in the wall foundations of Building B, used as a storage warehouse, built late 15th century BC, excavated from 1995, on the Kadilar Hoyuk mound in the Lower City in Sapinuwa, an ancient Bronze Age Hittite settlement, at Ortakoy, Corum, Anatolia, Turkey. The building has an carriage entrance ramp and separate pedestrian gate, and stone foundations with 1.5m high adobe walls. 59 pathos or earthenware jars were discovered, half buried, containing olive oil, wine, legumes and grains.
