Water garden and manor house, 16th century, at the Domaine de Villarceaux, Chaussy, France. The hedges in the water garden reflect Renaissance embroidery patterns. The domaine is on the site of an 11th century medieval castle and comprises a water garden, manor house and 18th century chateau. It is managed by the Regional Council of the Ile de France, with the owners, Fondation Leopold Mayer.
