The Weight of Oneself, sculpture, 2013, by Elmgreen and Dragset, on the Quai Romain Rolland, and the Passerelle du Palais-de-Justice, a footbridge built 1983, across the river Saone, linking the districts of Bellecour and Saint-Jean, in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France. The statue represents a giant marble figure carrying or rescuing a second identical figure, representing weight of decisions taken within the courthouse it stands outside.
