Whaterwheel on the Certovka Channel, Prague, Czech Republic
House with a medieval waterwheel on the Certovka Canal or Devil's Channel in the Lesser quarter or Mala Strana, Prague, Czech Republic. The channel was built in the 12th century by the Order of the Knights of Malta, who added land to create an island called Kampa. The channel siphons water from the Vltava river through parts of Prague before reentering the river again. The historic centre of Prague was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992.
