Window overlooking the internal octagonal courtyard of the Castel del Monte, a 13th century citadel and castle in Andria, Puglia, Southern Italy. The castle was built in the 1240s by Emperor Frederick II and is octagonal in plan, with walls 25m high and bastion towers on each corner. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
