Workshop (structure 8), a freestanding building containing fragments of chert, used to make tools, at Skara Brae, a Neolithic village occupied 3180-2500 BC consisting of 9 stone houses and a workshop, linked by passages, at Skaill beach on the Bay of Skaill, on Mainland, Orkney, Scotland. In the distance is Skaill House, a mansion built in 1620 by George Graham, bishop of Orkney, and the 7th laird of Breckness excavated Skara Brae in 1850.
