Yagul, Oaxaca, Mexico
Yagul, a Zapotec city first occupied from 500 BC, expanded 500-70 AD and again 1250-1521 AD, in the Tlacolula Valley in Oaxaca, Mexico. The city contains the Palace of the Six Patios, a ball court and pyramid temple complexes. The site is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
