1937 Coronation - Abbey guests stranded in rain after
Coronation of King George VI. Viscount and Viscountess Arbuthnott and the Earl and Countess of Yarborough waiting for their car to arrive at the ceremony. A torrential downpour afterwards meant that a large proportion of the 7500 guests at Westminster Abbey were left stranded waiting for cars up to five hours after the event had finished
