1937 Coronation - Abbey guests stranded in rain after ceremo
A young peer offers a cigarette and a light to the peeress he is escorting after the 1937 Coronation ceremony of King George VI. A torrential downpour afterwards meant that a large proportion of the 7500 guests at Westminster Abbey were left stranded waiting for cars up to five hours after the event had finished
