The magnificent vestment, the Imperial mantle donned by King George VI following his anointing in the Coronation ceremony, seen as it was nearing completion at the Royal School of Needlework, South Kensington. It was beautifully adorned with shamrock, thistle and other emblems of the United Kingdom
