The actor, Mr William J. Rea as Abraham Lincoln at the Lyric Opera House, Hammersmith in 1919, playing the lead role in the play by John Drinkwater. Photographs show Rea playing Lincoln at different stages of his career from the offer of Presidency in 1860 to his death in 1865
