Anthony Wilding and Norman Brookes, tennis at Wimbledon

Anthony Wilding and Norman Brookes as gentlemen in waiting on the weather at the 1914 Wimbledon tennis championship in July 1914. Wilding, who had won the last four consecutive men's singles championship was beaten in the final that year by Brookes. He was killed the following May at the Battle of Aubers Ridge
