Charles Edward Turner

Charles Edward Turner (1893 - 1965), artist for The Illustrated London News, particular of aviation and marine subjects. He exhibited at the Royal Academy in London, and specialised in landscape and marine views. Having served in the Royal Air Force in the First World War, reaching the rank of Captain, Turner worked as a war artist during 1939-45
