Sailors as guests of Lady Beatty (wife of Admiral Beatty) enjoying a Christmas dinner somewhere in Scotland. The wives of officers of the Grand Fleet helped to make the dinner a success and Mrs Drummond, wife of Captain Drummond, can be seen waiting on the men. On a platform, or stage beyond the dining tables can be seen a piano and chairs, arranged in anticipation of some imminent festive entertainment
