Cutting sixty khaki uniforms at once, WW1
Scene at a garment manufacturer in New Jersey, USA, which was able to turn out 50, 000 khaki uniforms a day for Allied troops by a cutting process which allowed sixty pieces of fabric to be cut at once. A man can be seen on the production line, guiding the cloth along chalk lines so the saw accurately cuts the different shapes of fabric
