Daphne Rye (1916 ? 10 November 1992), director, actress and casting director as well as proprietor of Daphne's restaurant in Draycott Avenue, which became a favourite celebrity hang out after she opened it in 1963. She is named here is Mrs Daphne Ainley (her third husband was Sam Ainley)
