Debenham & Freebody advert, Diana Mitford

Advertisement for smart celes sports jumpers from the department store Debenham and Freebody in Wigmore Street, London, featuring an illustration of a model who looks curiously like Diana Mitford in a famous publicity photograph taken of her while on honeymoon in Taormina. Her honeymoon was earlier in 1929 so it's highly likely the artist was inspired by the photograph even though the outfit itself is a little different to what Diana wore
