A dress and matching coat by Norman Hartnell who follows the vogue for diaphanous fabrics by using mushroom silk organza. The dress has a deep V neckline and tiny pin-tucks control the fullness of the waist. Madame Claude St. Cyr at Hartnell made the hat of matching ruched silk organza. All jewellery is by Bijoux Christian Dior
