The Eagle hut disturbance, 1919
Police officers taking an arrested American soldier to Bow Street station. The man had been arrested for playing a gambling game outside the Eagle Hut YMCA for American soldiers and sailors in Aldwych, an incident which sparked a riot of around 1000 who demanded the soldiers release
