Popular music hall star, George Robey, known as the Prime Minister of Mirth, pictured speaking at a recruitment rally in Trafalgar Square, London in 1915 alongside Horatio Bottomley, jingoistic proprietor of John Bull magazine and swindler. Robey was eventually received a knighthood. Bottomley went to prison
