The British-based Swiss fashion designer Jo (Guiseppe) Mattli (1907-1982), pictured talking to the much taller Mrs Rosemary Parker (a model?) at a reception for fashion buyers from overseas held at the Mansion House in the City of London in 1955. The reception was given by Lady Pamela Berry (formerly Lady Pamela Smith) and was attended by London's leading designers, overseas buyers, Press representatives, the President of the Board of Trade, Mr Peter Thorneycroft and his wife and the Duchess of Gloucester
