World War One advertisement for Kensitas cigarettes featuring the character Old Bill, from the Bystander cartoons by Captain Bruce Bairnsfather and brought to life on stage in The Better Ole at the Oxford Theatre, London by the actor Arthur Bourchier in 1917/18. It includes a skit on Bairnsfather's most famous cartoon, If you knows a better ole - Well, if yer knows of a better cigarette, then smoke it
