King Manuel of Portugal (1889 - 1932) seen in a variety of poses and activities including tennis, fencing and in his study. Manuel came to the throne in 1908 following the assassination of his father King Carlos I and his elder brother. His reign was brief and he went into exile in 1910, living mainly in the UK
