Lelong coat, 1929
A simple coat of marron velours by Lucien Lelong, with a low placed frill along the hem and a deep collar and cuffs trimmed with a lighter shade of fox fur. The tight fitted hip and bloused back was very much the shape of the late 1920s. The photograph was one of a series exclusively published by The Bystander to give their women readers the latest Parisian designers
