Marchioness of Downshire, 1915
The Marchioness of Downshire, nee Evelyn Grace Mary Foster, pictured peacefully reading a book. At the time this picture was published, the Marchioness was lying dangerously ill with typhoid fever at Easthampstead Park, the 6th Marquis Berkshire seat. She did not succumb to the fever however, and lived until 1942
