Miss Dorothy Ward, actress, pictured in The Tatler at the time she was playing the lead part in Light Blues which ran at the Prince's Theatre, Manchester and later at the Shaftesbury Theatre, London. She is holding her little son as well as his teddy bear, which is resplendent in a khaki British Army uniform, a fine example of the war-themed toys flooding the market during the First World War
