Mrs Raymond Asquith (Katherine Horner)

Portrait of Mrs Raymond Asquith, formerly Miss Katherine Horner, wife of the eldest son of Prime Minister H. H. Asquith. She was the younger daughter of Sir John Horner of Mells Park. Her husband joined the Grenadier Guards during the First World War and was killed in 1916. The Sketch magazine, in which this photograph appeared, comments that she is a war worker but does not specify what form this takes
