An impression by the artist Fortunino Matania of the interior of the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden in 1925. A performance of Richard Strauss Elecktra is portrayed, but seen from the unusual viewpoint of the orchestra pit. The conductor is Robert Heger(1886-1978)
