North London School of Drawing & Modelling, Camden Town
North London School of Drawing and Modelling, Camden Town. The school, states the Illustrated London News, may be considered a model school for the education of art-workmen. Pupils are taught to make a correct representation of any object placed before them, while the system does not attempt to make designers otherwise than by inculcating the general principles of art: the combination of these, with their practical knowledge in various trades, is left to their own judgment
