Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone & her children
Princess Alice of Albany, Countess of Athlone (1883-1981), daughter of Prince Leopold and granddaughter of Queen Victoria. She married Prince Alexander of Teck (Earl of Athlone), brother of Queen Mary, in 1904. She is pictured with her two children, Lady May Cambridge, born 1906, who married Captain Henry Abel Smith, Governor of Queensland, and Prince Rupert of Teck, Viscount Trematon, born 1907, who suffered from haemophilia and died in a car accident in 1928
